The Plaza de Toros de Pontevedra is a building dedicated to bullfighting activities in the city of Pontevedra , in which the A Peregrina bullfighting fair is held every year. The venue has a capacity for 7,800 people, being therefore the second largest venue in the capital of Pontevedra, just behind the Pasarón Stadium . The Plaza de Toros in Pontevedra is the only permanent bullring in the whole of Galicia . Since 1996, the square has had a roof that protects the whole area (both benches and sand) from the sun or rain. The square has belonged to the Lozano brothers' company for more than 30 years, and it also hosts events such as musical concerts, political rallies and events of theFeira Franca .
