In 2017 Zooparc Overloon made a new area; a giraffe plain (nvddierentuinen.nl). A bus was placed along the edge of the plain. Visitors can enter the bus and watch the giraffes from there. There even is a feeding patch on top of the bus for the giraffes. The bus is decorated with African colours and patterns.
