The Bernard Lake Dam is a concrete stop log dam located in between Lake Bernard and Stirling Creek in the township of Strong, Ontario. The dam is approximatly 1m high with four stop log bays. It was constructed in 1959 primarily to control the water level on Lake Bernard for the summer recreational season. Ownership of the Dam is the Province of Ontario and it is controlled by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry with an arrangement with Lake Bernard Property Owners' Association to assist where required. Remote water level sensing was installed at the site in 2006.

Access
To access the bridge, make your way to exit 276 on Highway 11 and travel down Highway 124 towards Sundridge 1km. Turn right on Sunset Drive and travel 380m. Turn right on Albert street and travel 700m. Turn left onto Sunny Ridge Road, cross the railway tracks and then make a right onto High Rock Drive. Travel 5.2km to the one lane bridge. Parking can be found on the shoulder by the bridge at N45° 43.104 W079° 25.068.
