Bij het IVN West-Friesland staat werken aan een gezond milieu centraal. In dit kader worden allerlei natuuractiviteiten georganiseerd voor jong en oud. Beleving is daarbij heel belangrijk. Door speelse activiteiten worden kinderen geoefend in het kijken, voelen, luisteren en ruiken. Zo komen ze tot de ontdekking dat wat je ziet soms niet is wat je denkt te zien! Ook voor volwassenen organiseert het IVN West-Friesland regelmatig interessante excursies.
Het IVN West-Friesland is gevestigd in het Streekbos Paviljoen en is elke zondag geopend van 13.00 tot 17.00 uur.

Working on a healthy environment is central to IVN West-Friesland. In this context, all kinds of nature activities are organized for young and old. Experience is very important here. Through playful activities, children are trained to look, feel, listen and smell. In this way they discover that what you see is sometimes not what you think you see! The IVN West-Friesland also regularly organizes interesting excursions for adults.
