Church tower with spire and massive angle turrets, originally containing 5 bells; in 1906 these bells were rehung and another added by the then rector at a cost of £182. The tower also contains a clock with two dials and chimes, erected as a memorial of the Diamond Jubilee in 1897 of Queen Victoria. The tower has battlements and a recessed spire with 2 tiers of lucarnes in alternating directions. It also formerly had corner turrets, although these have been removed.
In 1991 a further 2 bell were added.
