Ladestanderen er opsat af Svendborg Kommune i 2018 som et tilbud om gratis opladning til elcyklen, så man kan køre længere omkring og ikke risikere at løbe tør for strøm.
Der er opsat 10 standere rundt i kommunen, fortrinsvis ved kirker.
