Good Shepherd Lutheran Church is where this very first Little Free Pantry is located. Next to it is a toy box that is a memorial to two year old Rex L. Franzen.
The structure is along the main drive, making it a convenient stop. Stepping stones line the few steps between the road and the pantry.
It has four shelves, and a sign posted on the front glass panel indicates "No perishables."
On the day of our visit, the pantry was well stocked. Some of the items available: cereal, a can of oranges, can of ravioli, two boxes of mac and cheese, chicken noodle soup, spaghetti sauce, microwave rice, peanut butter, bag of rolls, saltine packets, and pudding boxes.

The Little Free Pantry: Pilot launched May 12th, 2016, and ignited the Little Free Pantry/Blessing Box movement. Located on the right side of the parking lot just inside the Evelyn Hills entrance to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, this is where it all began.
