As reported from Andrew Minegar, "GENEVA TOWNSHIP, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - Van Buren County Sheriff deputies have identified three teen suspects that tipped over headstones in a Van Buren County cemetery on March 19.
Deputies followed up on information regarding suspects that damaged 33 grave markers in the Lacota cemeteryaround two weeks ago.
According to police reports, a 15-year-old boy from Lacota, a 15-year-old from South Haven and a 13-year-old girl from South Haven confessed to walking through the cemetery and tipping the graves, "for fun and because they were bored."
The teens remain in their parent's custody while police continue the investigation.
Deputies are also waiting for charges to be issued from the Van Buren County Prosecutor."
