Connor's State College began in 1908 as Connor's State School of Agriculture. Today it is a two-year community college. Among its academic degrees are agricultural ones including horticulture and equine, including rodeo.
This sign is on College Road, at the intersection of Hodges Drive. There is quite a bit of equestrian traffic here, from the barns on the south side of the road, to the arena and grandstands on the north. The college's athletic team is the Cowboys, and there are truly many cowboys making this crossing.
