Haastrecht is een stadje met ongeveer 4.500 inwoners. Brandweer Haastrecht is een vrijwillige brandweer bestaande uit 20 vrijwilligers en valt onder brandweer Hollands-Midden. Het korps heeft de beschikking over een tankautospuit en een personeel-/materiaalwagen.
Begin 2010 is de huidige brandweer kazerne in gebruik genomen.
