The small one room timber cottage with a corrugated iron roof.was built c1917 for the use of the Bishop of North Queensland, John O Feetham, when visiting Herberton. The building was originally sited in the grounds of the Church of the Holy Trinity and was relocated to it's present place in Herberton Historic Village during the 1970's.
The cottage provided a place of rest for the Bishop of North Queensland during his journeys throughout his vast parish.
