No additional details could be found about this window. It is of traditional Christian design with the dove featured at he top beak pointing down. With Ray's of light emanating from it. To 4 additional symbols 3 of which are immediately identifiable as symbols of Christianity the cross on which Jesus was crucified the bible and a seashell to signify the fishermen featured in Jesus apostles. The other looks like a fleur de lis. I am unsure how this ties in with Christianity.
Here are details I could find about the building I posted on the waymark for that.
Cockerton Methodist Church is situated in the middle of the green in Cockerton village.
The Church opened it's doors in 1875 meaning it celebrates it's 145th anniversary in 2020.
There has been a Wesleyan methodist church on this site since 1823. The original chapel was built to seat 100 people but due to the increased population it became too small and fell in to disrepair. In 1872 a building committee was established to raise funds and a larger chapel was completed in 1875. The new chapel was built in the decorated gothic style in light coloured Gatherly Moor Stone to the design of architects Ross & Lamb. There was seating for 330. The church was formally opened and dedicated on the 30th of November 1875 by Rev. Joseph Bush of Edinburgh.
