Kunstner: Erik Cohrt (1902 - 1970)
Digtet:
Verden er et Flyve-Sand.
Sandet blinder os vort Øye,
Sandet volder Foden Møye,
til vi naaer det faste Land.
Verden er et Flyve-Sand.
The fountain Ambrosius Stub is made as an open seashell with a dolphin in bronze. Previously, water ran out of the dolphin, but it stopped years ago when the dolphin was destroyed .. So the fountain is now like a sculpture.
The poet Ambrosius Stub once lived in Faaborg, and in his memory one of his poems is written in the mussel shell.
Artist: Erik Cohrt (1902 - 1970)
The poem:
The world is like a Flying Sand.
The sand blinds our eyes,
The sand makes it difficult to walk
until we reach the mainland.
The world is like a Flying Sand.
