NL / Be Het gebouw Het gebouw is 15.000 m2 groot, telt 6 verdiepingen, is 40 meter hoog en heeft een footprint met een diameter van 40 meter die naar boven uitkraagt tot een diameter van 60 meter. De begane grond bestaat uit een uitnodigend entreegebied met onder meer een koffiecorner. Op deze verdieping bevinden zich ook de ruimtes voor art handling: inpakken, klimatiseren, quarantaine, laden en lossen. Op de tweede etage bevindt zich een filmzaal. Er zijn presentatieruimtes op de derde, vierde en vijfde etage waar het museum of een van de particuliere verzamelaars kunstobjecten toont uit zijn collectie. Op de derde en vierde etage bevinden zich depots van verzamelaars die een ruimte huren van het museum; zij kunnen eventueel hun toonzaal openen voor publiek. Deze presentatieruimtes hebben uitzicht op het Museumpark of de stad.

The ground floor consists of an inviting entrance area including a coffee corner. This floor also houses the areas for art handling: packing, air-conditioning, quarantine, loading and unloading. There is a cinema on the second floor. There are presentation rooms on the third, fourth and fifth floors where the museum or one of the private collectors displays art objects from its collection. On the third and fourth floors there are depots of collectors who rent space from the museum; they can open their showroom to the public if necessary. These presentation rooms have a view of the Museum Park or the city.
