Ved en stormflod i 1872, der især ramte Lolland og Sydsjælland, blev den tidligere pælebro ødelagt og derefter erstattet af den nuværende kraftfulde bro af sten.



80 m long stone bridge from Zealand to Gavnø. The bridge has 3 arches.
Gavnø is a small island off South Zealand with a castle and a public park.
During a storm flood in 1872, which particularly affected Lolland and South Zealand , the former pile bridge was destroyed and then replaced by the current powerful bridge of stone.
