Kaiserstuhl (The King's Seat) sits above the Barossa range at 600m.
At the peak is a stone cairn and a trig point, with survey marker below.
The mountain is within the Kaiserstuhl Native Forest Reserve, accessible through several tracks of the Kaiserstuhl Conservation Park.
There is no clearly defined track to the mountaintop itself, but several possibilities of foot tracks lead up from the Kaiserstuhl fire track below. Care should be taken, it is a long return trip requiring several hours. Take water and first aid supplies!
With a bit of a hike and a climb to get to this trig point it is well worth the stroll for the views.
It is quite a steep ascent, so not for the faint-hearted. Take a friend when hiking.
