Trigonometrický hranol je približne na plochém vrcholu kopce Strán, v nadmorské výšce 678.78 metru, mezi obcemi Kratušín a Záblatí. Prímo z vrcholu není žádný výhled, ale na docela peknou vyhlídku je možné dojít po ceste jihovýchodním smerem necelých 300 m daleko.

Po této ceste lze na vrchol pohodlne dojít od severozápadu, z cesty z Kratušína na Repešín. Auto nechte bud v Repešíne, Kratušíne, nebo v Chlístove, kde si mužete prohlédnout krásnou památnou lípu. Okolní louky jsou casto využívané jako pastviny hovezího dobytka, nepocítejte tedy se zkratkou pres ne.

The trigonometric granite block is on the flat top of the "Strán" hill, at an altitude of 678.78 meters, between the villages of Kratušín and Záblatí. There is no view directly from the top, but it is possible to walk to a fairly nice viewpoint in a south-easterly direction less than 300 m away.

Following this road, you can comfortably walk to the top from the northwest, from the road from Kratušín to Repešín. Leave your car either in Repešín, Kratušín, or in Chlístov, where you can see a beautiful memorable lime tree. The surrounding meadows are often used as pastures for cattle, so do not count on a shortcut through them.

Der trigonometrische Granitblock befindet sich ungefähr auf der flachen Spitze des Strán-Hügels auf einer Höhe von 678,78 Metern zwischen den Dörfern Kratušín und Záblatí.
