The Kingston City Hall is located in a one-story metal building with a low-angle gable roof. A 30 inch brick veneer is affixed across the front. The single door entry is located beneath a small portico, supported by two brick columns.

The town of Kingston was first settled in 1894 as part of the Chickasaw Nation. After moving a short distance to be near the railroad in 1900, it was incorporated in 1906. Cotton farming struggled in the 1920's and 1930's and so did the town's population, but in 1944 when Lake Texoma was formed nearby, Kingston became popular as a tourist area and their growth has been steady since then.

The city of Kingston does not have a website. They are governed by a mayor and town council, which meets the second Tuesday of each month.
