This hydrant has been repurposed as a doggy drinking fountain, with a small dog bone-shaped indentation in the pavement and a drain to catch excess water that comes from the copper pipe in the front outlet cap. The hydrant has a blue bonnet, and the button to turn on the water is mounted at the top. The dog could be a mastiff, but given the police dog theme, it's likely a German Shepherd. The hydrant and its chain are mostly a copper-brown, with black for most of the dog's muzzle, his forehead, his eyes, his ears, and his back. A sticker with the shield of the Lewisville Police Department has been partially peeled away.
