New Mexico has very cheery welcome signs. That bright yellow color and the slogan, "The Land of Enchantment" let you know you've entered a great place with lots to discover. This entrance to the state is in a high desert area with junipers and grasslands. It is about 14 miles east of Springerville, Arizona.
