Sprookjeswonderland is een themapark in Enkhuizen, dat geheel in het teken staat van sprookjes. In het park worden verschillende sprookjes door middel van (bewegende) poppen en huizen uitgebeeld. Ook zijn er verschillende attracties te vinden, die tevens allen in het teken staan van verschillende sprookjes.

Sprookjeswonderland is in 1973 ontstaan. De oprichter en tevens directeur van het park, Wim de Vries, maakte destijds voor de grap een kabouterpop. Door dit succes werden er al snel nieuwe poppen gebouwd. In het begin reisde de poppen over toeristische markten in de binnenstad van Enkhuizen. In 1981 werd er flink uitgebreid en kwam er een kabouterdorp, een kinderboerderij en speeltuin bij, alles in het Wilhelminaplantsoen aan de noordoostkant van de oude binnenstad. Eind jaren 80 klaagden omwonenden over de drukte en het afval. In 1991 werd het echt te vol en was er geen plek om uit te breiden. Daarom is het verhuisd naar het recreatieoord van Enkhuizen, dat aan de andere kant van de Zeemuur ligt, aan de rand van de stad en vrijwel direct aan het IJsselmeer. Het ligt centraal in het recreatiegebied Enkhuizerzand. In 2009 en 2010 is er gebouwd aan een nieuw entreegebouw met ontvangstplein. Het park richt zich vooral op families met jonge kinderen, daar het deze kinderen zijn die zich het meest aangetrokken voelen tot sprookjes. Deze sprookjes zijn vaak in afzonderlijke huizen te zien, af en toe overdekt.

Sprookjeswonderland is a theme park in Enkhuizen, which is entirely devoted to fairytales. In the park, various fairytales are portrayed by means of (moving) dolls and houses. There are also various attractions, which are all dedicated to different fairytales.

Sprookjeswonderland was created in 1973. The founder and also director of the park, Wim de Vries, made a gnome doll at the time as a joke. Due to this success, new dolls were soon built. In the beginning the dolls traveled to tourist markets in the center of Enkhuizen. In 1981, it was expanded considerably and a gnome village, a petting zoo and playground were added, all in the Wilhelminaplantsoen on the northeast side of the old city center. At the end of the 1980s, local residents complained about the crowds and the waste. In 1991 it really got too full and there was no room to expand. That is why it has moved to the recreation resort of Enkhuizen, which is located on the other side of the Zeemuur, on the outskirts of the city and almost directly on the IJsselmeer. It is centrally located in the recreational area Enkhuizerzand. In 2009 and 2010, a new entrance building with a reception square was built. The park is mainly aimed at families with young children, as it is these children who are most attracted to fairy tales. These fairytales can often be seen in separate houses, occasionally covered.
