Museu Diocesano
"Located on the northern side of the cathedral, in the old Hospital for the Poor and Pilgrims (17th C.), it covers three floors. Ground floor: Small room with ceramics and room with images and objects of the Brotherhood of San Telmo, it also has an extensive section of archaeological pieces, among which we can highlight a Celtic bronze helmet from the 4th century BC. First floor: Collection of petos de animas (stone monuments), gold and silverware, ivory, liturgical clothing, chalices and parish crosses. Second floor: Devoted essentially to an art gallery, here the famous Sanbenitos (the only ones in Spain until this time), on which we can read, on various fabrics, the names of the heretics tried before the Court of the Inquisition (17th C.)."
