Kadampa Buddhist Temple - Buddhist Temples and Public Shrines on Waymarking.com

The temple sits on the Kadampa Retreat Center property and was opened late 2019. It is the fifth Kadampa World Peace Temple organized by the New Kadampa Tradition. The temple roof bears symbols of world peace. There is an eight-foot Buddha statue and other statues and artwork, gilded and painted by international Kadampa artists. The temple seats 1,000 people. The temple is open to the public and invites residents and visitors to enjoy a peaceful atmosphere in a setting rich in natural beauty. There are many programs scheduled throughout the year appealing to many walks of life.

At present, the temple and adjoining retreat are closed due to the Corona-19 virus. However, some classes and meditations are available online.

Be mindful of taking photos - always ask first. Some areas photos are okay.
