The cold bath house at Dalabadet was built in 1926 on the initiative of postman Nils Larsson. The pier was opened on July 16th in 2006. It reaches 140m into the sea from the sandy beach at a popular swimming area. The pier is a result of a collaboration between the city of Trelleborg and the association Trelleborgbryggan that collected money.
The pier's total length is 154m, its width is 3.5m. The water at the end is 1.7m deep. The pier rests on 141 piles, 1072 planks were engraved with the names of the donators. There are 23 benches and six stairs on the pier. The pier is also equipped with lights.
