A wooden pulpit at in the south east corner of the nave of St Radegund's church, Maplebeck.
The Church was used as a barn and stable for a number of years. It was not until 1898 after the death of Rev Parsons Turton (Vicar of the church for 47 years) that he left money for the restoration of the Church, which was almost completely rebuilt, re-roofed and the interior re-ordered with simple pews, pulpit, and choir.
The panelled oak pulpit is half octagonal, simple with plain panels, with a little embellishment and brackets on the top rail. The oak tester above is a simple square panelled box design.
