"Michael Frederick Begemann, 26, New Haven, died Sunday, August 19, 2001, at Berger. He was murdered in a double murder suicide.
He was born October 11, 1974, at St. Louis, the son of Frederick Begemann and Jerri Hallemann, nee Obermeier.
Mr. Begemann graduated from New Haven High School in 1993.
He served his country in the U.S. Marines for four years.
Mr. Begemann was a network operator.
He was a member of St. Peter's UCC, New Haven.
Mr. Begemann also was a member of the National Rifle Association.
He was preceded in death by his father, Frederick Begemann.
Mr. Begemann is survived by his mother, Jerri Hallemann and husband Ray, New Haven; two sisters, Susan Begemann and Jean Oetterer and husband Mike, all of New Haven; two nieces, Taylor and Lexi Oetterer, both of New Haven; one grandmother, Thelma Obermeier, Belleville, Illinois; aunts; uncles; other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services were held at St. Peter's UCC, New Haven, with Rev. Nancy Tanner Thies and Rev. Roger Obermeier officiating.
Interment was in the church cemetery." ~ Find-A-Grave
