"The Oliver Community Centre, which includes the Hall, is the location of many of the community’s special events as well as department programs. The facility is available for private rentals. Advance booking is highly recommended.

The main hall hosts many functions such as square dancing lessons and party nights, aerobic exercise classes and preschool soccer programs. Several community events such as the Annual Home and Trade Show, Annual Arts and Crafts Sale and the Festival of the Grape take advantage of this versatile facility. The full hall can accommodate banquets for up to 500 people and will accommodate an audience of 750 sitting auditorium style for public hearings or seminars. There is a sound proof accordion curtain which splits the hall into 1/3 and 2/3. The 1/3 hall holds 150 people and the 2/3 hall holds 350 people. Smaller groups can rent either 1/3 or 2/3 of the hall. Meeting rooms are also available.

The Oliver Community Centre can accommodate weddings and receptions. Auditorium style seating for weddings can comfortably accommodate up to 750 guests while banquet seating for receptions allows as many as 450 guests. The hall is divisible thanks to a soundproof accordion style wall. The smaller section is an excellent choice for more intimate gatherings of up to 150 people. The larger portion is more suited to groups of up to 350 guests. Open the dividing wall and you can completely maximize the facility to full capacity."

Inside the lobby are a display of uniforms and several dedication plaques. As you continue through the entrance way you will find the community weight room, and a little free library. As you continue on you will find the community pool, open stage, tennis courts and a nice green space with picnic tables and benches. There is also an arena and curling rink.
