Oakland Cemetery (a.k.a. Oakland-Madill Cemetery) is on the north side of Highway 70 just east of Oakland. Walter Edd Ledbetter has a traditional Woodmen of the World tree stump headstone. He passed away at the age of 24.

The inscription is engraved on a scroll, hanging from a rope, with a dove on top. The WOW seal is engraved on the scroll above the name and dates. Above the scroll are the crossed implements found on many WOW markers. The inscription reads:
