Poppyheads on the bench ends in Holy Trinity church, Blythburgh. Possibly some of the county's finest medieval images. There are partial sets of three series: the Seven Deadly Sins, the Seven Works of Mercy, and the Labours of the Seasons. The benches themselves were reconstructed in the late 19th century, supposedly from the main post of Westleton windmill. There are other figures too, sadly broken and fragmentary, or just so obscure that their purpose is no longer clear.

The poppyheads selected in the image gallery are:
1. seven deadly sins: slander (has his tongue out)
2. labours of the months: sowing
3. labours of the months: reaping
4. angel with a crown
5. possibly rogationtide, for May (visit link)
6. possibly Christ in judgement
7. seven deadly sins: pride
8. seven deadly sins: hypocrisy (prays with his eyes open)
