Translated from the above noted french text:

“The Saint-Paul church, for its part, kept its bell and its steeple for many years. The bell was delivered in 1905 by the Bollée foundry, of Orleans, in France, foundry of bells since 1715 . The parish installs it in the magnificent bell tower of the church which was built in 1894 and repaired in 1905 after a blaze. Of tone Fa3, the bronze bell weighed 2196 pounds (996 kg) and tinkled in the bell tower visible from from the Ottawa River. Unfortunately, the church burned down in 2009 and the bell was damaged. The Saint-Paul Church Reconstruction Committee therefore opted not to include a traditional bell tower in its new construction. "
