Wooden effigy of a knight believed to be Sir Roland de Daneys (d.1363) in the south wall of the chancel. He fought for Edward III in the French Wars, and was knighted at Carcassonne in 1355. Originally the monument was probably covered in brass.
"He is represented in bascinet with camail, hauberk, fringed jupon, shoulder pieces, brassarts, vambraces, elbow and thigh pieces, jambs, knee-caps, articulated sollerets, and richly ornamented belt, but is without spurs or sword. The hands are in prayer, dog at feet, and cushion under head"
