A block in the retaining wall in front of the parking lot at Highland Village's Bruce Lockhart Lions Club Park suggests that Robert Koehler put this wall in place for his 2013 Eagle Scout project.

The retaining wall extends for much of the entire length of one side of the parking lot, created from blocks that are assembled with a sense of aesthetics. The single identifier block reads:

2013
Troop 280
Eagle Project

Robert Koehler

-----

Presumably, he and his volunteers also did other work on this section of high ground to improve and secure quality drainage, as the area is prone to rain and runoff from nearby Lewisville Lake. Similar blocks surround the park's drinking fountain, so that may have also been part of the project.

Unfortunately, Robert Koehler is no longer with us, as he passed on in 2020 after being diagnosed with an inoperable brainstem tumor. An online obituary -- available from me should the link go invalid -- has a photo and references his status as an Eagle Scout:

Robert Frederick Koehler was born April 14, 1997 in Lewisville, TX as the second child of Pete and Kim Koehler. He grew up in Highland Village, TX and was a 2016 graduate of Marcus High School in Flower Mound, TX. He attended Texas A&M University Corpus Christi (TAMUCC) through the middle of his Sophomore year when he was diagnosed with in inoperable brainstem tumor. One of Robert’s proudest achievements was attaining the rank of Eagle Scout at the age of sixteen with Troop 280 in Flower Mound. He was an avid camper and hiker both as a scout and later. He was also a keen auto enthusiast. He loved modifying and maintaining his 2014 Ford Mustang. He will forever be remembered for his generous nature and love of the outdoors.
