"The Tréport lighthouse is a lighthouse located in Seine-Maritime. It is cylindrical, made up of a white and green tower and is located at the end of the west jetty of the city of Tréport. It marks the entrance to the port.
In 1843, during the visit of Queen Victoria, a painting representing the event shows the presence of a lighthouse. It also appears on an 1845 sketch by English painter Joseph Mallord William Turner. In 1846, the painter Auguste Jugelet produced a print showing the lighthouse in its first version. In 1907, a new lighthouse was erected, postcards attest to it.
