The Mary Waters House, built in 1790, is a two and one-half story house with a central chimney and a small rear kitchen ell. The walls are clapboard on the front and sides , while the rear is finished wit h natural wood shingles . The windows have the typical local treatment of key stoned lintels on the facade and sides . The center doorway has a six paneled door flanked by pilasters , with a shallow carved Tudor rosette on each pilaster neck, supporting a classical pediment. The front yard is enclosed with a white picket fence standing on a granite base.
