This longhorn bull is in a grazing posture at the entrance into the Hofbrau Steak House. He is the "bigger brother" of a second but smaller bull that promotes the Quarry Hofbrau Beer & Garden. The smaller bull (WM11YYJ) is on display on the opposite side of the Hofbrau building facing Jones Maltsberger Road near a large lighted Quarry Haufbrau & Beer Garden advertisement sign. Apparently there is the more casual burger menu in the Beer Garden area; and, another area for more formal cloth napkins and silverware Steak House patrons. This large bull stands grazing between the Hofbrau Steak House parking lot and the fenced porch leading up to the Hofbrau Steak House entrance.
The longhorns spread the expected 6 feet wide and the thick shoulders and neck indicate a mature bull. The metal used to cast this bovine appears to be aluminum painted dark to resemble bronze. Shiny white metal is visible were some of the paint had been nicked off on the horns. Although the bull shows himself as a mature bull, the overall size is scaled down just a bit than what it would be if truly full size.
