Located in Lisbon, by the river, in front of the National Art Museum, the Red Cross, we will find the Portuguese national headquarters of the Red Cross.
It's hosted at a historical palace, known as Palácio da Cruz Vermelha, although its true name is Palácio dos Condes de Óbidos.
Originally built in the 17th Century, the palace was bought by the Portuguese Red Cross in 1919 and used since then as their headquarters. Its interiors are fascinating, a true historical place.
