The Sac and Fox administrative offices are located on Highway 99 about 6 miles south of Stroud. The Smoke Bear sign stands in the grass alongside the highway to the right of the entrance onto 926 Road.
The wood sign has a life-sized Smoke with the words "Fire Danger [ ] today. Prevent wildfires." The sign is painted on both sides. The danger was LOW the day of our visit.
