Olhão it's one of the main traditional fishing harbors in the country. It's therefore natural that the city pays homage to these men, who face the ocean on a daily basis.
This monument can be seen behind the marina's administration building. It was created on a berth of sand, which enhances the bronze boat and fisherman. The monument was created in a real size scale, including a fishing boat as a fisherman repairing one of the main tools of his craft: the nets.
