County of structure: Franklin County
Location of structure: 1 Elbert Dr., Rennick Riverfront Park, Washington
Pavilion: Built by Chamber of Commerce
Pit Built by Washington Lions Club<

The pavilion is for rent, and is used by the Chamber of Commerce for events they sponsor at this park. I is also used by the Lions for their events..many open to the public.

This pit nd pavilion are for community use. You reserve the large pavilion for a large party and you can use this pit.
The lions also hold events in this park, and of course, use their own pit.

Built with fire bricks, or course, but something a bit different---they had the bricks dedicated, and donated....

On the top of the shelter is the Lion's Logo and the ID of the town, WASHINGTON, like the old train depots use to do.....maybe this was for the river traffic, because under that is the mile marker ID of 68.3....is that the distance remaining to the Mississippi River, or front the Mississippi River to here??
I do not know.

Year built or dedicated as indicated on the structure or plaque: 1983
