Blind Boy fuller got his career started by playing on the streets in Winston-Salem, NC. He became a serious musician after he had begun to lose his sight. Blind Boy Fuller was joined by three other Blues muscians (Reverend Gary Davis, Sonny Terry and Brownie McGee), but was considered the most influential of his day. He recorded a lot of songs up to his death in 1941.
