This is a steel ball with the landmasses of Earth cut out of it.
The steel is about 1/4 inch thick. It's mounted on a post that's the same height as the globe, making the whole thing about seven feet tall.
There are three solar-charged LED lights pointed at it, each mounted on a rod that extends from the post.
There's no sign, no label, and no signature, or anything to indicate who made it, why it's in this spot, or what, if anything, it means.
Stationary or rotating globe: Stationary
Historical or current information: Current
Surface (elevation) relief: no
Size: Between 3 and 4 feet.
