Pacheco Cemetery is the private cemetery of the Pacheco Family. The Pachecos were early settlers in the region in the 1800s; they were farmers and ranchers. There are descendants of the Pachecos still living in the Taos area. There are also many Trujillo grave markers here, which is another name steeped in the history of Taos. Grave markers here date back to the early 1900s and are as recent as 2018.
