Altenahr ist ein kleiner Touristenort an der Mittelahr. Er ist umgeben von Bergen, durch die zahlreiche Wanderwege führen. Nördlich des Ortes, nahe der Martinshütte, liegt an einem dieser Wanderwege ein schöner Aussichtspunkt.

An dem Aussichtspunkt steht ein Picknicktisch mit zwei Bänken sowie weitere freistehende Bänke. Besuchern wird ein herrlicher Blick auf das Ahrtal, den Ort Altenahr sowie die Burg Are geboten.
Altenahr is a small tourist village on the middle of the Ahr River. It is surrounded by mountains through which numerous hiking trails lead. North of the village, near the Martinshütte, there is a beautiful viewpoint on one of these hiking trails.

At the viewpoint there is a picnic table with two benches and other free-standing benches. Visitors will have a wonderful view of the Ahr Valley, the town of Altenahr and the castle Are offered.
