NL: De Maas is een indrukwekkende regenrivier en vormt 40 km lang de Belgisch Nederlandse grens van Maastricht tot Kessenich. Het RivierPark heeft een gevarieerd landschap met een wirwar van oude rivierarmen, oeverwallen, stroomgeulen en grindbanken met enkele goed omlijnde woonkernen. Het is een gebied met een eigen gezicht en met enkele monumentale historische plaatsen.
EN: The Maas is an impressive rain river and forms the Belgian Dutch border from Maastricht to Kessenich for 40 km. The RivierPark has a varied landscape with a maze of old river arms, banks, stream channels and gravel banks with a few well-defined residential areas. It is an area with its own face and with some monumental historical places.
