This operation will be broken down into two sub-operations with the protection of the water body of the port of Jard-sur-Mer and the redevelopment of the port water level.

Le projet initial prévoit l’installation au total de huit pontons flottants (trois sont déjà installés) mais aucun ouvrage de protection du plan d’eau. «?La forte dégradation des pontons existants côté Morpoigne du fait d’une houle entrante pousse la communauté de communes à réfléchir au renforcement de la protection du plan d’eau, explique Maxence de Rugy. En effet, sans amélioration de cet aspect, il semble difficile de maintenir en état de fonctionnement les installations existantes au droit de l’entrée du port, et de se projeter vers une autre phase d’extension.?»

Parallèlement, l’évolution des pratiques des plaisanciers met en évidence aujourd’hui une absence de demande de postes sur corps mort. Les usagers souhaitent davantage de services, et notamment des pontons flottants pour amarrer et facilité l’accessibilité aux bateaux.

Répondre aux attentes de plaisanciers
Les places sur ponton sont génératrices de redevance plus importante que les places sur corps morts, moins attractives. «?Afin de répondre au mieux aux attentes de consommation actuelles et dans l’optique de capter une partie des plaisanciers toujours plus nombreux, je propose de repenser un projet de protection et de réaménagement du plan d’eau du port de Jard-sur-Mer pour favoriser l’installation de place de pontons?» , ajoute le président de Vendée grand littoral.

Cette opération sera décomposée en deux sous opérations avec la protection du plan d’eau du port de Jard-sur-Mer et le réaménagement du plan d’eau du port.

Des études techniques et stratégiques vont désormais se dérouler pour fournir les éléments de compréhension nécessaires aux arbitrages qui seront à rendre.
