A modern front cover in true East Anglian style, tall and stately. It was designed by Cecil Upcher in the 1930's and given in memory of Rev Frederic Jarvis M.A (visit link) and his wife Dorothy Eleanor Jarvis to mark his 21 years of service to Wymondham.

The lower two tiers have gilded pillared octagonal cages, the lower one with hinged doors. The very tall spire has gilded corners and 'peacock blue' panels.
