The Stanley Tubbs Memorial Library is housed in this beautifully restored Missouri-Pacific Train Depot in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. The depot platform, on the east side, serves as a sitting and reading area. The restoration was completed in 1985.
The library has grown beyond the walls of the former depot and the National Geodetic Survey benchmark disk that was once on an exterior wall is now inside the library; ask a librarian to show you.
