According to
this web page the Hardeman County Courthouse was constructed in 1908, but the cornerstone at the northwest corner of the courthouse bears the year 1907. The north face of the cornerstone contains a Mason's "Square and Compass" emblem and gives the year. The west face gives the names of judges and district commissioners.
