"Larry Pogue describes himself as an Abstract Expressionist, Found Object, Direct Metal, Sculptor. After graduating from Kansas State College (in 1968) with his Master's Degree in Sculpture and Printmaking, he taught art in college for 28 years.
"In 1997 Pogue took early retirement from teaching to pursue his love of sculpture. He completed his new unique gallery and studio in the spring of 1998 to have a space to create and display his new creations. Pogue welcomes visitors and will explain his ideas and techniques of how he makes art." ~ Larry Pogue Studio
"The Washington City Council Monday night unanimously approved the acceptance of a sculpture donation from local artist Larry Pogue.
