This water tower stands on the grounds of the former New Orleans Naval Support Activity (NSA) West Bank property in the Algiers historic district of New Orleans.

Today New Orleans' Federal City is a mixed purpose development in the Algiers community. The former base is now home to several businesses including marine launch company, Center-Lift and the enterprise software company, Maxwell Worthington.

The water tower bears the colors of the blue, red and white American flag with white stars on the upper part and the word NAVY written 4 times around the tank.
